Dear friends from the worldwide satellite navigation family,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you again in Germany in the beautiful city of Dresden. On behalf of the Program Committee of the European Navigation Conference (ENC 2020) the German Institute of Navigation (DGON) is very pleased to welcome everybody cordially to the ENC 2020 in Dresden.
The city of Dresden is located at the river Elbe and has a long and colourful history. Dresden is well-known as the capital and royal residence for the Electors and Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with cultural and artistic splendor. In recent times Dresden has recovered its importance as one of the cultural, educational, political and economic centers of Germany and Europe.
Due to the rapid development of analog and digital technologies there is an increasing progress in the system performance. It is always our pleasure to meet scientists, engineers and international experts to discuss new ideas, latest research results, future developments and new applications. High-level presentations will allow each participant to get an in-depth view on the current status of Satellite Navigation Technology. Finally, we wish you a very interesting and successful conference and an enjoyable time here in the beautiful city of Dresden.
Sincerely, your German Institute of Navigation
